1.2.2 How to apply the first style

The simplest way to apply a Style is to click the dice icon in the Style Layers menu bar.

The dice will apply a Random Style to your picture.

The style appears on the Image and its name ("Gold and White Illustration") is displayed in the Layer Browser.

If the style application is not immediate, then a Progress Bar shows the elapsed time while it is processing. If you do not like the result, partial result in the rendering preview, or if you want to try another style, cancel the style application by clicking the Abort button or by using the Esc key.

Roll the dice as many times as you want to get different effects.

Click the small arrow next to the Dice icon to see the list of the styles that have been randomly applied to your image including the latest one.
